Tai chi originated in ancient China.  Today it is practiced throughout the world as an effective exercise for relaxation, balance and improved health and wellbeing. Tai chi consists of fluid, gentle, circular movements that are done in a slow and relaxed manner.  Slow deep breathing techniques are used to aid in concentration and relaxation.  Anyone can practice tai chi; it can be done seated or standing and in almost any location.
